As the Founder and President of the Lumbini World Peace Forum, Basu has dedicated his life to promoting global harmony, environmental justice, and community empowerment—beginning from the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini, and extending his message across continents.

With an unwavering belief in the power of compassion and action, Basu leads numerous initiatives, including the globally recognized ‘1 Million Trees Plantation and Conservation Initiative’, which aims to combat climate change through grassroots participation. Under his leadership, thousands of youth, civil society groups, and institutions have united to protect and restore nature—planting hope, one tree at a time.

Beyond environmental advocacy, Basu is a passionate speaker, organizer, and connector of cultures. Through global exhibitions, peace dialogues, and educational exchanges, he continues to foster intercultural understanding and inspire a new generation of changemakers.
